1:1 Sessions

Day time and Evening Appointments Available

I offer private sessions for individuals seeking personalised support for pain and/or fatigue conditions and those that would like to work on building resiliency and reducing stress. There are several strands to my work:

  • Movement & Meditative practices – you may wish to learn more about embodied yoga, somatic movement and mindfulness meditation. Private sessions can deepen your learning and specifically serve your individual needs e.g. movement for those that may be bed bound or experiencing persistent pain or breath and relaxation based practices to help ease a racing mind.
  • Embodied Coaching – In 1:1 sessions we will discuss your current wellbeing aims. In these sessions, I draw upon a range of traditional coaching tools, embodiment techniques and contemplative practices to help you work towards change. In embodied coaching the body is viewed as a key aspect of who we are. We work with the body (not just the mind) to explore a felt sense of new options in our ways of being and relating. This work is none ‘athletic’ (you do not need to change your clothes or roll out a yoga mat) and focusses on integrating practical tools and techniques into your every day. I often work with clients who are looking for support with nervous system regulation, pacing/fatigue management, acceptance, changing habits, finding ways to relax, improving feelings of self worth, determining and communicating boundaries, building supportive relationships and much more.

Prior to our first meet, I will ask you to reflect on a health questionnaire and the areas in which you would like support. In our first session, we will explore this in more depth and agree on how we will work together.

Following each 1:1, I will forward notes and a combination of videos, audio recordings and/or handouts to support you in integrating this work into your life. If we are working specifically on movement or meditation this will include a recording of your personalised practice.

 Sessions are 60 mins in duration. In our first meet we will discuss your needs and what you would like to achieve. We will continue to check in, with your aims as we work together. All 1:1 appointments are currently hosted over Zoom(a free to download video app), so that you can attend from the comfort of your own home.

 I am conscious of accessibility, in regard to the health questionnaire. This can be sent to you via email, post (if you would prefer to complete this by hand) or we can run through this in a short telephone call prior to your first session, so that no typing or writing is required. All information disclosed will be kept in the strictest of confidence and stored in compliance with GDPR legislation.

Sessions are charged at £60.00 per hour. This price includes life time access to your recordings, handouts, notes etc. that will be supplied to you, following each session.
